How can courage help with progress
Progress is important - even more crucial is to remain unspoilt by progress.
This brief post will take a look at these two points.
We have an internal and external world. The internal world is one which we experience in meditation and when we dream. The external world is what we experience when we are awake both world are intimately connected.
We can progress internally and externally. One follows the other - both developments require courage. A decision to see beyond fear.

Meditation for Social Workers
Social workers are under stress due to:
* large case loads
* not enough supervision and support from
management
* very complex cases
* lack of resources to meet peoples needs
* a blame culture
* dealing with peoples problems day in day out
* a lot of responsibility on your shoulders
* stress and pain in the body
A Social worker in Dudley PCT -
How can meditation practise help?
'In terms of relaxation, reducing stress, keeping calm in the face of adversity really & helping to address all the issues mentioned'
Meditation practise not only helps to make the mind relaxed and peaceful but it also helps the mind to become more dynamic and as a result a more creative response to adversity.
Social workers are under a lot of stress due to the nature of their work - if they can create for themselves space in the mind then not only do they enjoy their work more their own sense of wellbeing increases.

meditation for busy people - part 2
so the busy person can meditate. like anything it depends upon motivation and the power of the decision from the outset. where does this decision come from? it comes from contemplating the great benefits that will arise in our life and how these benefits will affect every aspect of our existance.
some of the benefits of meditation are well know such as the classical tonic for reducing stress. when we can reduce and manage our stress load that we are far more creative and constructive - our thoughts are sharper and more focused - the next few entries will look in details at how meditation can help specific members of the community and links to direct testimonials from individuals in these fields. enjoy.

Meditation for busy people!
Yes meditation can be practised by everyone - the busier the better!... Why?
The reason being that it has a greater impact on your mind - generally busier people interact with more people. Their thoughts and actions have a direct affect on the people they meet each day, their friends, family and work mates.
Often we find ourselves busier when our mind is moving quickly, naturally our behaviour corresponds to the movement within our mind - the more the find moves in a myriad of different directions then the busier we find ourselves. There is a direct relationship between our mind and the world we find ourselves within.

Go Deeper - Learn to Meditate:
Go Deeper - Learn to Meditate:
Saturday 25th July
The practice of Meditation helps us to go deeper into our mind and to discover the most powerful and important phenomena in our existence.
Our mind can be our greatest ally or worst enemy depending upon our relationship with it.
We have the potential to have control over our mind and direct it whichever way we wish.
Meditation initiates a process whereby we discover this profound inner resource and we can inspire ourself on the journey of internal development.
Discovering to identify states of mind that produce freedom and peace and cultivating them and seeing states of mind that hinder our development and uprooting them. This process can be speedy or leisurely depending upon our application and wish for change.
Find out more on Saturday 25th July 10-11am & 12-1pm - Wolverhampton: Mind Space.Including meditations, talks, discussions, Q & A. £12 /book on-line for £10.
